Kaeso Asina. Half-Garlean, half-Miqo'te, all genius.
Bio
Kaeso Asina is the son of Aulus mal Asina, a chief magitek bioengineer, and Cihye Mocchasu, a Warrior of Light. From birth, he was scorned and ostracized by his Garlean countrymen for his Miqo'te heritage. Unlike his half-siblings, however, he embraced Garlemald for all of its strengths and its flaws.
When Emperor Varis was killed, Aulus and Kaeso fled from Garlemald and escaped to Mor Dhona, where they took residence in an abandoned imperial post.
It wasn't until Kaeso turned 18 that they would return to their homeland, taking up engineer positions with the Telophoroi. Despite serving Zenos, Kaeso is a double agent who works to free Garlemald with his brother, Lucius.

Kaeso's role model and his biggest inspiration. Kaeso is dearly attached to his father, admires him greatly, and is everything Kaeso aspires to be. While Aulus is his mentor and supporter, Kaeso has taken more of a caretaker role in his teen years, ensuring Aulus eats and sleeps as best he can.

Kaeso's doting and loving mother. Though he is often embarrassed by her fawning, he is quite fond of her. Though their relationship has been strained at points as Kaeso resents his Miqo'te blood, he would - without hesitation - defend her to his last breath.

Though not related to Kaeso by blood, Zodi is the other parent to his two half-siblings. Kaeso deeply resents Zodi for his careless mistreatment of Lucius, although he recognizes that the Amaurotine creation is still important to his father.
Half-brother: Lucius Asina (@badluck_txt)
Once thought to be Aulus and Zodi's son, Lucius is actually a genetic clone of Zodi who had modified his appearance to slightly resemble Aulus'. As children, he protected Kaeso from other Garleans, sometimes to a horrifying degree. As his powers grew more unstable, he ran away from home out of fear of hurting his family. He returned to them when they defected, and now is determined to support Kaeso in his goals.
Half-sister: Neyih Mocchasu
Neyih is the daughter of Cihye and Zodi, and the middle sibling teetering on the brink of 20 summers. Though protective of Kaeso, she would rather play more than anything, and that did not mesh with Kaeso's serious nature. Still, the two are fond of each other, though they live with different parents.
